The readability level of this reading passage is level O. A level O is the equivalent of a third grade reading level. There are 2 pages of comprehension questions, which serve as an excellent comprehension check or assessment. This resource also includes a graphic organizer, one for each person, so students can fill in and summarize the important contributions of each leader.
