More information about the ideas and activities presented in the video:
1. Character Traits (and so much more!) With Santa!
There are five different learning targets that are taught in this holly-jolly resource! Grab a copy of the adorable book Sad Santa by Tad Carpenter and use it as a mentor text to teach the five different learning targets.
This resource includes colorful anchor charts for each learning target and also a graphic organizer for each target. The unit concludes with an adorable (yet content related!) bulletin board with Santa character traits. Students mix and match different templates of clothing to make their Santa and identify his character traits.
A creative and fun way for your students to show their appreciation for staff members! Students turn into student servers and surprise staff members by delivering coffee and cookies on a cart!
What is the reason for the season? Showing appreciation for all the hard working staff members in our school! In this file, students shower the staff members in their school with letters of appreciation. File includes cover pages for different staff members in a school setting, both in color and black and white. There are also several templates for students to write their letter of appreciation.
Your students will LOOOVE delivering these sweet messages of appreciation and your co-workers will LOOOVE receiving them! :)
2. Radom Acts of Kindness – Secret Student Santas!
When let the adults have all the fun with playing Secret Santa this season? Let your students turn into secret Santas and perform acts of kindness for their peers…all in secrecy!!!!
Students learn about positive character traits and end this lesson with a cute and creative art project.
