Level P Guided Reading Passages and Comprehension Questions- Are you looking for engaging informational guided reading passages for your third grade readers?

Are you looking engaging reading passages that come with comprehension questions that will assess your students reading comprehension? This resource includes 7 different reading passages (at a guided reading level P) about 7 famous and influential leaders, who made a positive and lasting impact in our country and the world. Each passage includes 2 pages of comprehension questions, which serve as an excellent comprehension check or assessment. A level P is the equivalent of a third grade reading level.

This resource also includes a graphic organizer, one for each person, so students can fill in and summarize the important contributions of each leader. There is also a cover page with the name, a famous quote, and a picture of the special person, that students can use a cover page or coloring sheet to the article.

These articles write about the important work that these influential leaders did to impact our world in a positive and inspiring way, focusing on the hardships they overcame and their lasting impact, and how they taught kindness acceptance for for ALL humans (and animals!).
