Students will learn to infer character traits and also prove their thinking and ideas by referring to the text. I used the story, That’s What Leprechauns Do by Eve Bunting for the anchor charts, but you can use any books with leprechauns as the main character for the lesson.

This file is **common core aligned** and will conclude with the students making an adorable leprechaun craft, featuring the character traits. There are lots of pictures and detailed directions.

Your students will love learning about character traits with this lesson! Students will also make a cute and creative craft! Lesson is based off of the book, The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams. Makes an adorable bullentin board!

Lesson includes directions, a template for the craft, student worksheets, and colorful posters to use for an anchor chart or bulletin board headers.
