We’re famous! (Well, kind of!!)
Family Fun featured us in their August issue!!!
We just got our copy in the mail and we are so excited!!!
Remember when we played the “we broke our funny bone” joke on our students on
April Fool’s Day!?!
April Fool’s Day!?!
Well, Family Fun published our picture! How exciting!!
And, if that’s not enough, Nicole was featured AGAIN in that same issue in their Encouraging a Love of Reading article.

In other exciting news, we had so much fun meeting some other Chicago area bloggers and readers at our recent get together!

We had a great time talking about teaching and blogging!!! Thanks for coming to meet up with us, ladies!
Can you believe it is AUGUST already?? We have less than 2 weeks of summer vacation left! We can’t get into our classrooms because teachers are using it for summer school, so we will only have a few days to get it it ready for the kiddos. When does everyone else start?? Are you starting to stress yet? Enjoy these last few days of your summer vacation!

I am always superexcited about new books that I buy for the class that I share them right away. What a great idea to build up the suspense with the students! :)

WOW! Can you believe school is already here?!?! Enjoy meeting your new sweeties!! :)
I just found your site through the Teacher Idea Factory. I’m a new blogger and I am learning so much from all the blogs I’ve been reading. I have been in my classroom all month long, thinking through, sorting, organizing, thinking some more, and just taking it all in. PD week starts Monday and our students start the following Thursday, so I am SO excited but a little nervous.
