I “mustache” you a question….

Do you need some fun, new, and creative back-to-school activities? I am totally into this whole “mustache” theme and finding ways to incorporate it into my lessons and classroom activities.

When a customer asked if I could sell the teacher/student Venn diagram separate from the Back to School Bash file, that was all the inspiration I need to create this: “Mustache” You a question: Back to School Edition 1

You can purchase this file through my Teachers Pay Teachers store by clicking HERE.

I also just finished a fun “getting to know you” mustache themed activity. As soon as I saw that MelonHeadz graphics created new clip art, I fell in love and was so excited that I made this file: creative back-to-school activities

And, if you are craving more mustaches for your guided reading….look no further!!! creative back-to-school activities

I am going into school for the first time today since I left on the last day of school. I am afraid of what might be lurking on the other side of that classroom door. I mustache you a question…how do you feel (honest feelings only!) about going back to school!?!

  1. I'm excited to go back to school and see all of my kids and meet the new 6th graders. I am also apprehensive because we are beginning our common core transition, we have to have course syllabi, meetings and never enough time to train new special ed. teachers (we have 2 this year).

  2. Love this file! So cute! And, I LOVE going back into my classroom. I think it's unfair that they make us give our keys back for the summer. It's so relaxing getting things done, music on, no distractions.

  3. Hi! I have the usual butterflies going back to school. I am anxious and excited to get my list, but we don't get the list til much closer to the start of the year.(Sept 3) I kind of wish we got our lists earlier so we could start making tags, bookcovers, etc and we could send out our welcome letters and get that excited feeling about our little ones…so I guess now it is mostly an anxious feeling at this point..:)

  4. I am starting a new school and a new grade! Today is our first district training and we start classes on Tuesday! AHHH! I loved your guided reading packet with all of this…can't wait to use some of it this next week!
    Blessings,

  5. This is adorable! Well, I'm definitely not one of the first 3 to respond… I can't wait to get into my classroom, unfortunately the first day I can get in and get busy is August 15th! I'll have new carpet, new paint, and some other things all fixed up, but it's a new room for me, so I have to do everything… yikes! Panic is setting in!! Oh, and did I mention that I have 29 cuties (so far) this year?

  6. Oh my goodness!! That is a cute file. I'm not one of the first three but I had to answer. My first official day back was yesterday but I started going in last week. I have mixed feelings. I love teaching, it's what God put me on this planet to do. But I enjoy sleeping in, playing with my daughter, and wearing comfortable clothes too! I'm anxious about the beginning but am hopeful that once the kids and I get to know each other, things will move smoothly. I enjoy this time of year overall. It's so full of potential and possibility!!
