We had a great time talking about teaching and blogging!!! Thanks for coming to meet up with us, ladies!

Can you believe it is AUGUST already?? We have less than 2 weeks of summer vacation left! We can’t get into our classrooms because teachers are using it for summer school, so we will only have a few days to get it it ready for the kiddos. When does everyone else start?? Are you starting to stress yet? Enjoy these last few days of your summer vacation!

  1. You ARE famous! :) Congrats!

I am always superexcited about new books that I buy for the class that I share them right away. What a great idea to build up the suspense with the students! :)

  2. Congrats! I saw that issue, and I was so happy for you guys!

I have a bone to pick with you girls, though. (In the nicest, most non-threatening way, of course! tee hee!) I had emailed you about the blogger meet-up, and let you know that my colleague and I wanted to join you, but we never got the evite. Poop. We really wanted to meet up with you ladies. :(

But, all is forgiven. I just hope there's a next time!

    1. Hello!! I am SOOOO sorry! I don't know how we missed your email. It must have been an oversight!! Bummer! We will definitely post if we have another get together—we'd love to meet you guys (and apologize for this little snafu!!)
Enjoy the start of your school year :)

  3. Congrats Ladies…how exciting.
Say….I didn't know there was a Chicago Bloggers get-together! How often do you gather? Would love to meet up with local bloggers…I'm north of you guys in Bartlett. ;-)

    1. Hi, Cindy! Your picture looked familiar and then I remembered…you won one of our giveaways! We would have loved to have met you in person! This was the first meet up we've done. We'll definitely make a post if we have another one!! Hope all is well :)

  4. Very Awesome Ladies!!! Congrats. It has been a busy week for me. We start school next Wednesday and I have been working in my classromm and having meetings since Tues. Aug. 7. Can't wait to meet my new students next week. Hopefully I will post pics of my classroom this coming Monday. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

  5. I just found your site through the Teacher Idea Factory. I’m a new blogger and I am learning so much from all the blogs I’ve been reading. I have been in my classroom all month long, thinking through, sorting, organizing, thinking some more, and just taking it all in. PD week starts Monday and our students start the following Thursday, so I am SO excited but a little nervous.
